Following three victories in the last three rounds of the 2024 Japanese Championship, Honda Montesa is set to debut worldwide with the RTL Electric in the Trial2 category.
The team has enlisted Miquel Gelabert, 2016 European champion, to lead this ambitious project for the Trial2.
The RTL Electric, developed by a joint effort between Honda’s Electric Business Development and Motorcycle and Power Products divisions (Asaka, Japan) is in line with Honda future environmental strategy, aiming to achieve carbon neutrality in all of its products and corporate activities by 2050.
The bike’s official debut will take place on April 5-6 in Benahavís, Spain, competing on equal terms with ICE bikes.
